2006 WINTER SCHEDULE
SEPT 10 SUN Noon FINLAYSON Round Robin Tournament
Early season tryouts and challenge to our training regime. Much too fast, much too
hot and maybe much too early. Only goal scored by Tamas (from a brilliant cross by
Chuck.)
SEPT 17 SUN Noon FK COW CLASSICS OBOB
Obviously, we trained too hard for the first game and were not as potent as we expect
to be, a loss 3-1. Rick scored the first goal of the official season.
SEPT 24 SUN Noon FINLAYSON OBOB UN CARPET
Our training regime came to the forefront as we held back our offensive prowess and
yet still managed a 8-3 win. Scoring: Stu 2, Bruce 2, Tamas 1, Sam 1, Brent 1, and
oh did I mention Chuck's beautiful drive around the goalie? Peter showed mercy by
driving the ball above the net. Brent changed sides in the second half and after
recovering from a brilliant check, managed to score for UNC. (Note: Bruce should not
challenge Brent to fisticuffs.)
OCT 1 SUN Noon TSARTLIP COAST SALISH OBOB
Kings of the counter attack, took a 3-0 lead at the half and finished with a 7-4 victory.
Howie 2, Stu, Sam 2, Pete and Bruce. Steve H. with an own goal.

A 6-0 drubbing by the Lakehill Pre-Classics. What was that odor? Why was Brian the
best player on the field?

Painful 3-1. The relentless checking by Island Blue never allowed us get in the game.
Goal by Howie. Now for a small break to recharge our batteries. Preparation for the
Manly Cup to start (& we'll be short players for that game due to the British Invasion
of Vegas).
